I wanted to create a house which traps the history, memories, and thoughts of generations. The set incorporates 2 giant pivoting mirrored doors, that when opened create deep hallways of reflections.  The family can no longer tell the difference between their past and future and chooses to remain in their own self-imposed trappings- living out their lives in the cold, stark space between the mirrors while ignoring the warm light of the conservatory, which leads to the outside world. Forced perspective and elongated proportions are used to give the space a feeling of foreboding unreality.
